From the 9-11 November, Stylist Live took over Olympia London for a three-day festival, offering a mix of inspirational talks, wellness workshops and a catwalk show. Stylist Live is an annual event organized by the Stylist Magazine.

One of the most exciting parts of the festival was the catwalk show. The catwalk show, which is supported by Babyliss, delivered autumn/winter 2018 trends curated by the Stylist fashion team from high street brands.
Five trends were presented on the catwalk, for each trend, there were eight looks:
TREND #1: Leopard Lover
Love it or hate it, the leopard print is a trend for this season. And it’s everywhere! From the catwalks of Balenciaga, Tom Ford or Saint Laurent to Zara, Topshop or New Look. Mixed with other prints, or with something plain, the leopard print can be a way to spice up your look.

TREND #2: Under Cover
The winter season is getting closer, and let’s face it, nothing beats a comfy, warm jacket. Puffa jackets are an easy way of staying warm and stylish. Put a puffa jacket over a jersey dress, a jumper, or even over another jacket and create fluid layers with your clothes.

TREND #3: Bold Earth
The Earth itself is a wonderful way to get inspired. Create a pallet of earth colours with your outfit! Be bold, like Mother Nature, but add a drop of softness by putting on an emerald silk scarf or a nice cut, cinnamon silk dress.

The Country style has been around for a long time and it can be a great highlight for your wardrobe. If you are in a mood for a playful outfit, take a jeans jumpsuit and a pair of cowboy boots, accessorize it with some big earrings and you are good to go.

TREND #5: This Old Thing
Despite the name, This Old Thing (my favourite collection) showed that sparkling clothes are incredible stylish when mixed with the right items. Be extra whenever you feel like it, don’t wait for a special occasion to wear your shiny dress!
