I am a digital marketer, writer, traveler, wellness & freedom seeker.
My Story
I love creating solutions to enhance a brand’s online visibility. It all began when I made the decision to move to London to study fashion after earning my bachelor’s degree in journalism. With high hopes and dreams, much like any 21-year-old, I embarked on this journey. Fast forward to 2020, and I graduated from the University of the Arts London with an MA in Fashion Journalism.
Since 2019, I’ve been freelancing for lifestyle brands and publications, while working full-time as an online merchandiser. I’ve been writing high-converting sales copy, crafting engaging, quality content, and optimizing the merchandising of their products and services to boost traffic and revenue.
I’ve gained experience in the fashion industry through internships at Marie Claire Magazine and at a fashion PR agency called Fashion Crossover. Early on, I realized that I wanted to make a different impact with my work. So, I started collaborating with companies focused on wellness. Concurrently, I’ve been exploring what wellness means in my own life and writing about my experiences.
My Experience
I’ve contributed articles to The WOW Magazine (print, article available here), Fashion Scout (online, reporting about fashion shows during LFW), The Bare Minimum Magazine (online & print), DOSE Magazine (online, skate fashion), Loanhood (online), Ikigai the Magazine (print, wellbeing magazine).
In addition to writing, I’ve gained experience in SEO optimization and merchandising. Over the past four years, I’ve acquired:
- A deep understanding of what businesses need in terms of content and SEO
- Skills in optimizing e-commerce and service websites to improve conversion rates
- Insights into user expectations that reduce bounce rates
